If you've been following my blog for awhile, it may have occurred to you that my Tough Grrrlll posts have become pretty lame recently. If you go back 2 or 3 months, you'll see details of some serious track workouts, some wrap ups of killer long distance runs, some talk of a 3:40 marathon goal. Next weekend, in fact, is the Clarence DeMar Marathon - the race in which I qualified for Boston last year. My plan (vague as it was) had been to train for a 3:40 this fall (a 4-minute PR) so that I would meet 2013 standards for my age group. I was well on my way through out the summer. I was in the best shape of my life.
And then I peed on a stick.
So, yeah. Tuesday Tough Grrrlll posts will now be replaced with RWP (Running While Pregnant) posts.
I'll just let you chew on that for a bit. Don't worry, there's LOTS more coming.
P.S. For the record, I DID run this morning. For 30 minutes, about 3 miles.
