It seems to add up

Still in no-woman's land with the Hood to Coast, but I'm not freaking out about the unknown. I'm going to plan on the marathon and if the relay pops up, we'll see...

That 3:40 has been on my mind a lot. Like, is that even remotely feasible? That's a pretty big chunk (4 minutes) off my PR. So, last night I used McMillan Running Calculator to see what it would predict for me. This site takes your race time for any race and then predicts what you can reasonably expect to run at other distances - assuming quality training.

The predicted time for my marathon, based on my 1:44:19 was EXACTLY 3:40:00.

Alrighty. Giddyup!

  1. You can do anything you set your mind to...clap-clap-clap-clap...There! I believe!

  2. It's a sign! How I love that calculator. It has NEVER been wrong for me when I actually trained for the pace they said I could run.

  3. Thanks for the site! I was having a problem trying to set my run paces so this is fantastic! Good luck on the 3:40 thats my dream time for a full! (not gonna happen for my first one but who knows) Can't wait to see how it turns out!

  4. I dont even want to see what that calculator says for me. :) Good luck!
